The Annual Sports Meet of the school was held on the 7th of November, 2015.
Chief Guest of the inaugural ceremony Mr. Dilip Shetty, PET, BGS Education Centre, Mangalore inaugurated the meet with the torch brought by the previous year’s sports champion Abhishek and Likhitha declared the meet open and wished the students all the best. Students took active part in all the events. The afternoon session was very exciting for all, as many parents took part in lucky games organized for them. The Chief Guest of the valedictory ceremony Mr. Gowtham Shetty, Physical Education Teacher, of Delhi Public School, Mangalore, in his speech urged the parents to encourage their children in the field of sports and advised the students to spend at least an hour or two in physical exercise every day. Mr.Y N Salian, Principal, MRP ITI, Thokur distributed the prizes and congratulated the staff and students for the success of the sports meet. The programme ended with National Anthem.
