4th year BSc Nursing students of Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences Organized an In-service Education program on anemia among pregnant women on 26-11-2015 at CHC Nitte, Karkala. The Anganawadi Supervisor Mrs. Sumithra, HOD Community Health Nursing , Dr. Mrs. Neetha Kamath, Lecturer Mr. Vallesh and Ms. Rakshita ,Asst. Lecturer were present on this occasion. Dr. Mrs. Neetha delivered the key note address. Twenty five Anganawadi workers attended the program. Pre test was given to assess the existing knowledge on anemia followed by education on anemia was given using posters and power point presentation. The post test was given to assess the effect of in-service education. Anganwadi workers cleared doubts regarding maternal care and child care.
