TechNidarshan '15 - NMAMIT

FEST REPORT

Technology is also a gift of God. It has always provided us with whatever we needed or desired for. NMAMIT has always given importance to the technical talents of the youngsters and thus a couple of years back it introduced its Annual Technical Fiesta TechNidarshan’15. Starting in the year 2010, we’ve had five successful fests so far which has seen the ultimate technical talents shown by the students in and around Nitte. Having had very supporting staff and a well organised management, and a super enthusiastic student body, this year we came up with TechNidarshan’15- COMBAT. STRIVE. SURVIVE. The theme of the fest being “WORLD WAR”. This year NMAMIT saw one of the best fest in its history. The two months prior hard work of our very determined working committee took us all the way to success. The fest dates being 29 th , 30 th and the 31 st of October, 2015.

DAY-1

The inauguration of The National Level Annual Technical Fest of NMAMIT was presided over by Mr. Sudarshan Pathwardhan, Proprietor, Shree Associates, Bengaluru and Dr. Prof. Balaveer Reddy, Ex-Vice Chancellor, Visvesvaraya Technological University-Belagavi. Our very own students put up a great show where they performed a dance drama on the theme “Dashavatara”. The day was followed by events like Auto expo, Paintball, Lazzerena, qualifiers for the Mega Treasure Hunt and also IT quiz.

DAY-2

A new day gave rise to a whole new level of energetic and innovative events. 3 departments conducted workshops and there were events like paper presentation, auto quiz and to top it all we had the Mega Treasure Hunt. The “ProNites” was taken over by the Kolkata based fusion rock band “UNDERGROUND AUTHORITY”.

DAY-3

The last but the most happening day of the fest. To start with we had the finals of all the flagship events and also the students favourite Tech-Roadies 4.0 and Robothon. The evening was made grand by the Valedictory and Award night held for the first time in NMAMIT and was graced by the presence of Mr. Vishal Hegde, Trustee- Nitte Education Trust. It was presided over by the Principal of Alvas Institute of Engineering and Technology, Dr Peter Fernandes and our very own beloved principal Dr Niranjan N Chiplunkar. The Cultural Coordinator Prof. Vishwanatha delivered the Fest Report. The Student Coordinator Mr. Nabhan Moideen rendered the vote of thanks. 1750 participants, 14 colleges, 48 events, 3 Workshops and a ProNite. To sum it up, TechNidarshan’15 was again proved to be the best platform for students to showcase their technical talents. We are signing off this year with the hope of raising our bench mark once again in the years to come.
