The Department of Community Medicine organized a Health Camp / Outreach Program, "Health camp and awareness programme for high school and Puc Students" on 09-11-2015 at MPSGVHS school Bellikoth.
As a part of the outreach programme of the department a health camp was organised on 9th November 2015 at Mahakavi P Smaraka Govt Vocational Higher secondary School at Bellikoth. It was organised by NSS union of the school, Bellikoth RHC and department of Community Medicine KSHEMA. Under the able guidance of Dr.Sanjeev Badiger, Professor, Medico Social Worker Mr.Santhosh N P, Post graduates, Dr.Grace, Dr.Vinu, Interns, Dr.varun and Dr.Vineeth, organised and conducted the camp. School Prinicipal Mr.Bhaskar, N.S.S. coordinator Mr.Sukumaran and Mrs.Usha RHC Bellikoth presented on the dias. About 524 students participated in the camp. Primary care and appropriate referrals were done. Health education was done whenever needed.
