“Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons’Day” - ABSMIDS

The Department of Oral and Maillofacial Surgery, ABSMIDS organized a function on Friday, 12^th Febraury 2016 to celebrate “Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons’Day”. The programme was inaugurated by the Principal and Dean of the Institution Prof. (Dr.) U.S.Krishna Nayak along with Prof. (Dr.) B. Rajendra Prasad, Director of P.G.Studies and Head of the Department, Dept. of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Professor Emeritus Dr. S.M.Sharma and Prof. (Dr.) Muralee Mohan. The other staff of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery like Dr. Gopinath Thilak, Dr. Pratiksha Shetty, Dr. Tripthi Shetty and Dr. Ashish Rai were also present. The programme was also attended by other Heads of the Departments like Prof.(Dr.) Chethan Hegde and Prof.(Dr.) Amitha Hegde and other staff like Prof. (Dr.) Rakshith Hegde and Prof. (Dr.) M.S.Ravi.

The inaugural function was followed by an Inter College Post Graduate Quiz Competition, conducted by Dr. S.M.Sharma. Various participants from colleges in and around Mangalore took part in it namely two teams each from the host college and Yenepoya Dental College alongwith a team each from KVG Dental College,Sulia, MCODS (Mangalore), A.J.Shetty Institute of Dental Sciences and Coorg Institute of Dental Sciences
