NMAM Institute of Technology, Karkala had organized its graduation day ceremony at the institute premises on 2 July 2016.
Mr.S Gopinath,Executive Director, Bharath Heavy Electricals Limited, Thiruchi was the chief guest of the function. In his address to the graduates, Mr. Gopinath, first of all congratulated all the students graduated in 2016. He emphasized on his 4 points listed which are considered to be key to success in anyone’s professional life. He explained the need of adaptability, learnability, humility, Resourcefulness. He spoke about the ability to adjust during the transition from a carefree academic life to a responsible professional life. He also touched the 2 aspects of learnability namely the ability to learn and the willingness to learn. Sri.N Vinay Hegde, President, Nitte Education Trust, who presided over the ceremony, in his presidential address he congratulated the graduates on becoming professionals and urged them to do justice to their profession. He emphasised the need for change in every field with respect to time. Every individual should respect elders which is in total the meaning of real Education. Graduates who passed out during the academic year 2015 -16 received their graduation certificates during the occasion.
