“MARIYALADONJI KOOTA” the monsoon festivity was celebrated by Women Guidance Cell and Women Rights Commission Cell. The occasion was graced by eminent personalities of Nitte University by Dr. Vinay Hegde, Chancellor of Nitte University, Dr. Ramananda Shetty, Vice – Chancellor of Nitte University, Dr. M. S. Moodithaya, Registrar, Nitte University, Dr. Satheesh Kumar Bhandary, Dean, KSHEMA, Dr. A.M Mirajkar, Vice Dean, KSHEMA and Dr. Jayaprakash Shetty, Registrar of KSHEMA. Dr Alka Kulkarni, Controller of Examination. Other university officials were also present for the occasion.
The tradition of Aati was elaborately spoken by the speaker Mrs. M Kavitha. S. Shastri (Past Lions Governor). The main attraction of the function was the mouth-watering spread of tulunadu delicacies. Teaching, non-teaching staff & student council members actively participated in the function. The programme was compered by Mrs. Bhagyashree. The gathering was welcomed by Dr. Shailaja Moodithaya and vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Sumalatha Shetty.
