Fresher’s Day - NICO

Nitte Institute of Communication had organized Fresher’s Party to welcome the newly joined members of the staff, the students of 1st year B.A and M.A on 27 August,2016 at NICO Auditorium. It was overwhelming to see the fresher’s who seemed determined to rise above all challenges and look ahead. The program kick-started with the introduction round of the fresher’s as the first round of the Mr. and Ms. Fresher 2016. All the participants were well dressed, conforming to the dress code for the theme ‘masquerade party . The participants, who had been selected in the first round, had to enter the second round of walking the ramp.

The last round of the competition was the ‘question – answer’ round where the selected participants had to answer the questions asked by the judges. Mr. Rahul Jyothi, l B.A and Ms. Carol were awarded as Mr. and Ms. Fresher 2016.

It was a cultural extravaganza with array of programmes like dances, songs and drama, where the teachers, freshers and the senior students put up a wonderful show to entertain the audience. Games were conducted for the fresher’s which made the programme lively and thrilling. The Masters of the Ceremony were at their best.

Prof. Ravi Raj Kini, Head of Nitte Institute of Communication along with the members of the staff were present for the programme.
