Rovering and Community Development Program - M.R.Punja ITI

‘Youth organizations play a key role in personality development’ said, Sri U. Gopalakrishna Bhat, Dist. Secretary, Bharath Scouts & Guides, Mangalore at a program on “Rovering and Community Development” organized at MRP ITI on 23rd April, 2018. In his speech, he emphasized the need to develop qualities like brotherhood, accountability towards the society and practice good values. He enlightened the students of the ill effects of substance abuse and advised them to refrain from them.

Sri M. Sarvothama Anchan, Asst. Commissioner, Bharath Scouts & Guides, Mangalore inaugurated the program. He informed that being actively involved in Scouts & Guides would help the student become self-reliant & disciplined and thus bring a positive change in his life.

Smt. Sarojini Suvarna, Vice President, Local Cell, Bharath Scouts & Guides; Sri Bharathraj, Dist. Organizer; Sri Preethesh, Dist. Youth President; Sri Prabodh Kudva, Industrialist and Sri Laxmikanth, Training Officer, M. R. Punja ITI were present on the occasion. Rover - uniforms were distributed to the eligible students by Smt. Shilpa Prabhod Kudva, President, Lions club, Mulki.

Principal, Mr. Y. N. Salian gave an introductory speech and welcomed the gathering. Sri Harishchandra, Secretary Local Cell, Bharath Scouts & Guides proposed the Vote of thanks. Sri Suresh S., Rover Leader compered the program.
