The Department of Community Health Nursing of Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences in collaboration with the NSS unit organized Swachhata Abhiyan at Renjadi village on 23rd March 2019 between 9.30 and 11.30 am. 50 students from IV year B.Sc (Nursing), 32 students from I year GNM and 12 students from II year P.B.B.Sc (Nursing) participated in the cleaning drive. Students were divided into different groups to carry out the activities of Shramadhan near Renjadi bus stand, Main road, School area, Mosque area and Anganwadi. Through this Swachhata Abhiyan, the students demonstrated their social responsibility to maintain cleanliness and motivated the general public to get involved and participate proactively in this National Swachhata Mission.
