Scientific Workshop on Non-invasive Brain stimulation-Neurophysiotherapy concepts - NIPT

Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy organized a one-day Scientific Workshop on “Non-invasive Brain stimulation - Neurophysiotherapy concepts” on 30th March 2019 at Chintana Hall, 2nd Floor, Justice KS Hegde Charitable Hospital, Deralakatte.

Prof. Harpreet Singh, Department of Neurophysiotherapy, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, was the resource person.

Prof. Dr. Satheesh Kumar Bhandary B, Vice Chancellor, Nitte (Deemed to be University) was the chief guest. He appreciated the efforts of the faculty in organizing this innovative workshop and expressed his desire to have a research association with AIIMS on the subject.

Guest of Honour and Key note speaker, Dr. Ananthan R, HoD, Neuro Surgery, Justice KS Hegde Charitable Hospital elaborated on the non-invasive brain stimulation, emphasized on TCMS and TDCS.

Prof (Dr) Dhanesh Kumar KU, Principal, NIPT welcomed the gathering. Dr. Purusotham Chippala, Associate Professor, NIPT delivered the Vote of thanks. Ms. Jumana Bhagat, II BPT, NIPT was the M.C. for the program. A total of 49 participants from Karnataka & Kerala participated in the workshop.

The delegates lauded the NIPT team for organizing this innovative physiotherapy continuous education program with Prof. Harpreet Singh as the resource person.
