Entrepreneurship Development Cell, NMAMIT organized an Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp for Final year students of M.R. Punja I.T.I, Tapovana, Thokur on 26th March 2019.
95 students attended the program. In the first session, Sri. Sundar Sherigara, Asst. Director, MSME, Mangalore delivered a talk on 'How to start SSI units and general concepts about Govt. formalities, rules, regulations, location and different aspect of an industrial venture'.
In the next session, Dr. Sudhir Raj K, Professor, Justice KS Hegde Institute of Management, Nitte explained about the values associated with entrepreneurship and the qualities of entrepreneurs. Prof. Ganesh Bhat, A.J Management Institute, Mangalore briefed about the communication skills for better results in business. He also explained about identification of business opportunities, project selection, project report preparation, project appraisal, technical & financial feasibility and evaluation.
Dr. Balasubramani R, Chief Project Leader of EDC explained about Digital Entrepreneurship and touched upon various entrepreneurship opportunities available to students in Information Technology.
