The seventh Certificate Awarding Ceremony of Oral Implantology course, followed by a CDE program on the topic “Radiographic diagnosis in Implant imaging” by Prof. Dr. Laxmikanth Chatra was held on April 2, 2019 at Vimshathi Bhavan. Ten candidates were awarded certificates for completing the basic training in Oral Implantology course. The certificates were given away by the Chief Guest, Prof. Dr. Satheesh Kumar Bhandary,Vice-Chancellor, NitteDU. Prof. Dr. U.S. Krishna Nayak presided over the function. Prof .Dr. Mithra N. Hegde graced the occasion.

Prof. Dr. Manoj Shetty delivered the welcome address and Dr. Nivya John introduced the resource person, Prof. Dr. Laxmikanth Chatra, Professor & Head, Dept. of Oral Medicine &Radiology, Yenepoya Deemed to be University. Dr. Mridu Dubey was the moderator for the ceremony. Prof. Dr. Chethan Hegde delivered the closing remarks and Prof. Dr. Rakshith Hegde proposed the vote of thanks. Over 100 delegates comprising of faculty, post graduates and under graduate students attended the CDE.
