K S Hegde Medical Academy, in association with the National Board of Examination, New Delhi, Tejaswini Hospital and SSIOT, Mangaluru conducted a Workshop on Research Methodology for the students of DNB on 16th and 17th March, 2019 at Tejaswini Hospital.
Around 20 DNB students across India participated in the Workshop. Updates on research methodology, formulating research question/hypothesis, review of literature, introduction to zotero/pubmed, study designs and statistics, data management, qualitative research, good clinical practice, ethics in research and discussion/conclusion were the topics discussed. Feedback from the participants was very good. Dr Shantharam Shetty, Chairman, Tejaswini Hospital was the Chief Advisor and Dr Jayaprakash Shetty K, Vice Dean (Admn), KSHEMA was the Organizing Secretary. Dr Yogesh Gowda, Consultant Arthroscopic Surgeon, Tejaswini Hospital was the Co-ordinator of the Workshop.
