22nd Annual Sports Meet - NIPT

Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy conducted the 22nd Annual Sports Meet on 16th & 17th November 2019 at Nitte Grounds. The chief guest for the event was Dr. Rohan Monis, Chief Administrative Officer, Kanachur Hospital & Research Centre. Guest of honour for the event was Dr Donald Manlapaz, Chair - Physical Therapy College of Rehabilitation Science, University of Santo Tomas, Manila. The event started with a parade by the students of NIPT, after which the flag was hoisted by the chief guest and sports meet declared open. The torch bearers were Ms. Liann, Mr. Aravind, Mr. Arjun, and Mr. Nithin who have excelled in athletics and sports. Sports Secretary of NIPT, Mr. Afif delivered the oath taking ceremony for the athletes participating in the events. The formal event was concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Mr. Krishnaprasad K.M, Sports Chairperson, Asst. Professor, NIPT. The Sports officials from Mangalore University and Physical Directors of Nitte University played a vital role in conducting and judging the events.
