The National Safety Week is being celebrated at Nitte DU from 04th March to 10th March 2020. The celebration started with the flag hoisting by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Satheesh Kumar Bhandary, followed by the students and staff taking the safety pledge.
The inaugural program was attended by students & Staff of NitteDU. In his inaugural speech, Prof. Dr. Bhandary stressed on the importance of safety in the hospital and in our daily life. He further emphasised on creating awareness among the general public about safety.
The safety week will be celebrated by conducting Poster, Slogan & Collage competitions for students, teaching & non-teaching staff, along with safety awareness programs in constituent colleges.
