The Department of Medical Surgical Nursing of NUINS organized a seminar on Fire Safety Awareness along with Demonstration on 12th March 2020.
Mr. Prashanth Kamath, Fire & Safety Officer, Nitte (Deemed to be University) was the resource person. He explained with demonstration, the importance and need to equip oneself with the knowledge of firefighting techniques and safety measures.
Prof. (Dr.) Fatima D’Silva, Principal, NUINS presided over the function and delivered the key note address. The program was coordinated by Mrs. Latha S, HoD, Medical Surgical Nursing. Mrs. Gloria Dsouza, 1st year MSc(N) welcomed the gathering, Ms. Noksenkhumla B Chang, 1st year MSc(N) proposed the vote of thanks and Ms. Caroline Sequeira, 1st year BSc(N) compered the program.
