News from ABSMIDS | Conquering Challenges in Pediatric Dentistry with NOIS - A hands-on workshop

The Department of Pediatric & Preventive Dentistry, AB Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences conducted a hands-on workshop on “Conquering Challenges in Pediatric Dentistry with NOIS” on 9th & 10th January 2022. This program was conducted in collaboration with the Dental Education Unit of the College.

The Chief Guest for the workshop was Prof. (Dr) Sham Bhat, Vice Principal, Yenepoya Dental College. The presidential address was delivered by Principal & Dean Prof. (Dr) US Krishna Nayak. The resource person for the two-day workshop was the college alumnus Dr. Aum B Joshi, who is a faculty at College of Dental Sciences, Amargadh, Gujarat.

A total of 42 postgraduate students participated in the hands-on workshop which helped to improve their skill in delivering nitrous oxide sedation for pediatric patients.
