A program on Health Awareness was conducted at MR Punja ITI, Tapovana Thokur by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare through the Kemral Health Centre on 25th January 2022.
Through folk songs, skits and workshops, Mr. Girish Navada & team provided awareness on protecting our health by drinking pure water, having homemade food, developing clean habits and maintaining hygiene.
Every year the Government spends a lot of money to provide health benefits. To ensure that these privileges reach the public, awareness programs need to be conducted through Primary Health Centres. Strengthening the Health System, Human Resource development, Capacity building and Regulation in Public Health are important areas within the health sector.
Through skits & workshops, the audience were made aware of the following:
Contacting 108 for ambulance | Arogyavani | Vatsalya Yojane | Prevention & Control of pandemic diseases | Maintaining hygiene in & around our homes | Covid awareness | Cholera | Tobacco Cessation methods| Avoiding Tea & Coffee | Advantages of having warm water etc.
Principal Mr. Hari. H., Mr.Laxmikanth, Training Officer, Staff and Trainees were present during the program.
