News from ABSMIDS | Innovative program 2022: Path-Mind Einsteins Participatory Learning Day

The Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology and Oral Microbiology organized an Innovative Program 2022 - Path-Mind Einstein’s Participatory Learning Day for III BDS students on 24th June 2022 at Avishkar. The Chief Guest for the event was Prof. (Dr.) Maji Jose, Vice-Principal, Yenepoya Dental College.

The function was inaugurated by lighting the lamp. Pavithra B Nair rendered the prayer song. Program coordinator, Dr. Reshma Amin welcomed the gathering and introduced the chief guest. Prof. (Dr.) Maji Jose addressed the students about the importance of learning oral pathology and the use of the innovative programs for the overall development. Principal & Dean, Prof (Dr.) US Krishna Nayak presided over the program and stressed on the importance of participating in different activities and inspired the students to participate in innovative events. Many competitive events were planned for undergraduate students like Pictionary, Dumb Charades, Pictorial Quiz etc. The game-based learning platform Kahoot was used to engage the students. Prof. (Dr.) Sreelatha SV, HoD, Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology thanked the audience for participating. Prof.(Dr.) Pushparaja Shetty, Senior Professor of the Department was also present.

Mr. Mohammed Raihan Asadi, III BDS student compered the program and Ms. Isha Tewary delivered the vote of thanks. Heads of various Departments and faculty members were also present on the occasion. Prizes were distributed to the winners of the various competitive events.
