The Departments of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Public Health Dentistry of A B Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, Nitte (Deemed to be university) in association with Sahyadri Sanchaya under the leadership of Mr.Dinesh Holla & team organised a 2-day program “Vana Chethana” for the Tribal School children of Joida and Yellapur Taluk , Uttara Karnataka on 15th & 16th June 2022.
Dr. Gopinath Thilak P.S, Reader, Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery participated in this program and delivered a health talk for the school children and organised skits on Oral and General Health Awareness and Effects of Tobacco Consumption. Tooth brush and toothpaste for 300 school children were distributed during the two days program.
