News from NIPT | 24TH Annual day celebration

Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy celebrated its 24th Annual Day on 16th April 2022, at K.S. Hegde Auditorium, Deralakatte, Mangaluru. The formal function commenced at 5.30 pm with a warm welcome address and reading of the annual report by Prof (Dr) Dhanesh Kumar KU, Principal. The Chief Guest for the day was Dr Y M Jayaraj (Pro Chancellor, Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth, Pondicherry, Former Vice Chancellor, Parvara Institute of Medical Sciences (Deemed to be University) and Chief Advisor to the Honourable Chancellor, Dr. D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune. Honourable Vice Chancellor of Nitte DU, Prof (Dr) Satheesh Kumar Bhandary presided over the event.

Meritorious students, achievers in sports and extracurricular activities were felicitated by the dignitaries. In his speech, the Vice Chancellor acknowledged the importance of Physiotherapy and the value of good education.

The vote of thanks was given by Prof (Dr) Purusotham Chippala. The event was coordinated by Aishwarya Nair, and Neha Shetty, Assistant Professors, along with members of the Students' Council.
