News from NSAMPUC, Mangalore | Annual Day Celebration - 2022

The Annual Day celebration of Dr. NSAM PU College was held on 3rd December 2022 at the college grounds. Sri. N Vinaya Hegde, Chancellor Nitte University presided over the function. Addressing the gathering he said “Students must make use of the platform available to them wisely for their growth. Learning is complete when sports and cultural activities are coordinated along with the curriculum. It is the need of today’s competitive age to use the opportunity efficiently and grow professionally.” He mentioned that there are plans to shift the current PU college to the new campus at Deralakatte, where amenities such as swimming pool, sports, gym, free transport would be made available to students.

Renowned Yakshagana artist Mr. Patla Satish Shetty, Charter President, YakshDhruva Patla Foundation Trust, Mangaluru was the Chief guest. In his speech, he mentioned that along with talent & achievement, one needs the grace of God to succeed in life. An achiever becomes great only when he does not forget the people who supported him in his path to success. 

Principal Dr. Naveen Shetty said “Annual Day is like a colorful festival for the students and popular personalities who are invited as guests on such occasion can act as a role model and inspiration to the students”. College toppers of 2022 batch - Ms. Kshama who qualified in JEE; Ms Vaishnavi in NEET and Mr. Rohan Kini in NUCAT and MAHE examinations were honored on the occasion. The program was coordinated by Ms. Suman, Lecturer, in Computer Science and Mr. Sharath, Lecturer in Physics. All the staff members, students and parents were present on the occasion.
