NUCSER, in association with the Institution Innovation Council, Nitte DU conducted a special session for the students on creative thinking and problem-solving skills on 22nd February 2023 at the University Auditorium, Paneer campus.
Mr. Clinton Baptist, Founder & CEO QuizX, Bengaluru was the resource person. The event began with a presidential remark by Prof. Smitha Hegde, Dy. Director, NUCSER. She emphasized the importance of developing critical thinking skills for students and appreciated Mr. Clinton Baptist's efforts in this direction.
Mr. Baptist introduced the theme of the event, "THINK! Connect the Dots". He explained that the theme was chosen to encourage students to think critically and connect various dots of information to solve complex problems. The event consisted of a series of activities that were designed to stimulate critical thinking & problem-solving skills in the students. The activities involved brainstorming sessions and group discussions. Mr. Baptist facilitated the activities and guided the students to think creatively and logically.
The event was attended by 180 students and 20 faculty members. Dr. Sudarshan Kini, Coordinator and Mr. Hasmani Mohamed Saif, Student President of the Student Innovation Club coordinated the program.
