A health awareness program on the importance of haemoglobin was conducted on 4th April 2024, at Ira Rural Health & Training Centre, Yuvaka Mandala, Ira Parappu by the Dept. of Community Medicine, K S Hegde Medical Academy. Local families were educated through door-to-door interactions about the signs and symptoms of anaemia, including fatigue, fainting, shortness of breath, hair loss, increased risk of heart attack and changes in stool color. Preventive measures were also discussed to promote overall health and well-being in the community.
