The Departments of Community Medicine, KSHEMA, Public Health Dentistry, ABSMIDS and Nitte Medical Simulation Centre (Nu-MEDISiM) organized a Continuing Medical Education and workshop on ‘Basic cardiac life support and first aid training program for Medical and Dental officers of Rural Health Centres’ of Nitte University on 10th May 2024.
The session was conducted by Dr. Gayathri Bhat, Chief Coordinator and Dr. Shruthi KT, Asst. Coordinator of BCLS training. The 32 participants were also given training in first aid, comprehensive paediatric life support and choking and were awarded certificates on successful completion of training.
