The Annual Sports Meet 2024 of Dr. MRSM School was held on 9th November, 2024. Chief guest Ms. Vidyalatha, PT Teacher, Govt. High School, Badaga Yekkar inaugurated the event by watering a plant and this was followed by lighting the torch and a march past by the participants.
Ms. Vidyalatha congratulated the students for their enthusiasm towards sports and advised them to handle success and failure gracefully. PTA President, Mr. Pushparaj Chowta mentioned that the valuable lessons students learn from sports would guide them in every step of their life, whether on or off the field. Principal, Ms. Shreelatha Rao reminded all the participants that the true spirit of sports lies in giving their best and respecting their competitors and wished them the very best.
The students showcased their sporting talents in various track and field events including long jump, high jump, shot put, discus throw and relay.
Mr. Abhishek Shetty, Asst. Operational Manager, MRPL was the chief guest for valedictory ceremony and awarded the winners with certificates and medals. Lucky games for parents were also organised.
