News from NIAHS | Fit India, Fit Me - 5K Run

A 5-km marathon was organized by the Nitte Institute of Allied Health Sciences, in collaboration with the NSS unit on 24th April 2025 as part of the Central Government’s Fit India initiative to promote physical fitness and well-being among participants.

Dakshina Kannada’s Deputy Commissioner, Mullai Muhilan M P, IAS inaugurated the event at the K S Hegde Auditorium. He emphasized the importance of physical fitness, particularly for those in the medical profession and encouraged everyone to make fitness a daily habit - not only for their own well-being but also to inspire others to adopt a healthier lifestyle.
