Nitte Institute of Communication's Photography Club recently showcased burgeoning talent at its "Photography Exhibition" on 15th May 2025 at the Paneer Campus quadrangle. This event doubled as the second internal assessment for second-semester BA Media & Communication students.
The exhibition featured a diverse collection of photographs across four genres: product, food, portrait and fashion. All displayed works were conceptualized, curated and executed by first-year students, highlighting their technical skills and creative vision.
Renowned portrait photographer Aditya Prabhu, founder of Light Mill Studio, was the chief guest. His inspiring lecture, "Light, Soul and the Art of Seeing," emphasized photography's power as an art form and shared valuable professional experiences.
A special feature was the launch of "Mise En Scene: The Canvas of Light and Vision", a commemorative playbook detailing the students' creative process and behind-the-scenes insights.
