Under the auspices of the Yakshadhruva Patla Foundation Trust, Yakshadhruva – Yakshashikshana was inaugurated at Dr. MRSM English Medium High School on 12th August 2025. Addressing the gathering, Mr. Purushotham Shetty, President of the Patla Foundation, Kinnigoli Unit, highlighted that the foundation has provided Yaksha Shikshana training to over 13000 individuals worldwide to date. He further stated that this initiative has played a vital role in safeguarding the cultural traditions of Tulu Nadu. Expressing his happiness, he noted that 98 students of the school are now receiving Yakshagana training in two batches.
The event concluded with Yaksha Guru, Mr. Ajith Kerekadu, teaching the students a few introductory steps to mark the inauguration. The program was graced by the presence of Mr. Sainath Shetty, President, Rotary Club, Kinnigoli; Mr. Girish Shetty, President, Patla Foundation, Yekkar Unit; Mr. Prithviraj Acharya, Convener, Patla Foundation, Kinnigoli Unit; Ms. Chandrakala Shetty, Trustee, Patla Foundation, Kinnigoli Unit and Mr. Pushparaj Chowta, President of the PTA.
