The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Nitte Rukmini Adyanthaya Memorial Polytechnic inaugurated its activities for the academic year 2025-26 on 12th August 2025. In his inaugural address, the Principal highlighted the vision and mission of the NSS, emphasizing the role of students in contributing to community service while developing leadership qualities and social responsibility. He encouraged all members to actively participate in the various programs planned for the year and to uphold the NSS motto, “Not Me But You”.
A workshop on Personal Development was conducted by JFM Shilpa Mulki, an experienced Zone Trainer who explained the importance of self-awareness, goal setting and positive thinking in building a successful personal & professional life. She shared strategies for improving communication skills, time management and emotional resilience and engaged the participants with interactive activities making the session lively and relatable. Students were encouraged to identify their strengths, work on their weaknesses and adopt a proactive approach to learning and personal growth.
