Nitte Institute of Communication (NICO) observed Anti-Ragging Awareness Week from 12th to 18th August 2025, with creative competitions to promote a culture of respect and inclusivity. Dr. P V Satya Prasad, Head, NICO inaugurated the event.
The week began with an orientation and a screening of short films. Students participated in Slogan and Essay Writing competitions, followed by Poster Making and Collage Design. Activities also included Logo Design and Reel Making competitions. The week's events formally concluded with a prize distribution ceremony.

- Poster and Collage Design: First Prize - Red House team (Varsha Ragu, Thrusha Poojary, Rishab Thhampy, Sujan S); Second Prize - Blue House team (Jothika L, Salman Farish, Jun Bhowmik, Haani Mohammed Thaha, Hanaan Fathima)
- Reel Making: Ajay (Yellow House)
- Logo Making: Varsha Raghu (Red House)
The initiative successfully used creative expression to raise awareness about the dangers of ragging and empower students to become advocates for a safe campus environment.
