Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy organised a talk on “NeuroAI Ageing Smarter science for sharper minds” on 19th September 2025 at Patanjali Yoga Hall. The session featured Dr. Mallikarjunaiah H. S., Principal, Acharya N. R. Institute of Physiotherapy, Bengaluru, as the resource speaker. The event was convened by Dr. Purusotham Chippala, PG Coordinator, who also introduced the speaker.
Dr. Mallikarjunaiah highlighted the importance of healthy ageing and brain health, explained the role and relevance of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and discussed the various forms of AI currently available in the market. He elaborated on how AI contributes to brain health enhancement, emphasizing the use of mobile applications, smart monitoring systems and devices that support cognitive well-being. Further, he shed light on the role of AI in diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive strategies, illustrating his points with real-world case studies to make the concepts more relatable and impactful. Faculty members and postgraduate students of the institute participated in the event.
