News from NMAMIT | Teachers’ Day and Engineers’ Day celebrated at NMAMIT, Nitte

NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte celebrated Teachers’ Day and Engineers’ Day on 13th September 2025.

Er. Praveen Kumar Kalbhavi, Co-Founder, Managing Director and CEO of Novigo Solutions was the Chief Guest of the event and the recipient of the Engineers’ Day Award. Prof. A. Yogeesh Hegde, Director (Campus Maintenance & Development), Nitte Off-Campus Center of NitteDU, presided over the function.

As part of the celebrations, teachers of NMAMIT who were conferred the Ph.D. degree during 2024–25 were felicitated.

Dr. Niranjan Chiplunkar, Principal, NMAMIT welcomed the gathering. Dr. Shivaprasad Shetty, Associate Professor, Dept. of Chemistry explained the significance of the event. Dr. Vasudeva, Professor, Dept of ISE introduced the chief guest. Dr. Nagesh Prabhu, Vice-Principal introduced the teachers who were felicitate. Dr. I.R. Mithanthaya, Dean (Academics) proposed the vote of thanks. Dr. Narasimha Bailkeri (Dean - Student Welfare) coordinated the program. Associate Professors Dr. Srividya G and Dr. Padmavati K rendered the invocation. Ms. Shweta Bharath and Ms. Sanchitha CM, Assistant Professors in the Dept of Humanities were the masters of ceremony.
