The NSS Unit of NRAM Polytechnic, Nitte, organized a workshop on “Skills for Life” on 3rd September 2025, led by Dr. Jagadeesh Jogi G, National Trainer, JCI. The session emphasized the importance of life skills such as communication, problem-solving, decision-making and emotional resilience in personal growth, social responsibility and professional success.
Dr. Jogi stressed that technical knowledge alone is not enough in today’s world; interpersonal and emotional skills are equally vital. Through interactive discussions, activities and practical exercises, students explored teamwork, leadership and critical thinking, while reflecting on their own strengths and areas for improvement. The workshop highlighted how life skills can enhance both academic performance and career development.
