Wipfli LLP, the leading accounting and consulting firm in the United States and Nitte (Deemed to be University) continued to strengthen their partnership in 2025 through initiatives focused on student development, faculty empowerment and industry-academia synergy. Wipfli conducted hands-on workshops, project mentoring, internships and placement training across NMAM Institute of Technology, Dr. N.S.A.M. First Grade College, and Justice K.S. Hegde Institute of Management.
Thirty NMAMIT students undertook internship projects guided by nine Wipfli mentors, with 12 receiving paid internships and 5 securing full-time employment in AI, ML and Data Science. Faculty development programs on Generative AI, Cloud Computing, Agile Methodology, and US Taxation enhanced academic-industry alignment.
As part of its CSR initiative, Wipfli awarded scholarships to 56 meritorious students across Nitte institutions, presented by Mr. Raveesha Rao, Head - Talent & Culture, Wipfli. Looking ahead, the partnership will further expand in 2026 with enhanced focus on student skill development, faculty training, campus hiring and scholarship support.
