NUCSER celebrated Navratri with devotion and cultural vibrancy under the banner Navanithya 2025 from 22nd to 30th September. The nine days honoured the different forms of Goddess Durga through colour-themed observances, rangoli artistry, and enthusiastic participation by students and faculty. Each day began with lamp lighting and was dedicated to a symbolic colour, with students and staff dressed in the day’s colour, filling the campus with festive spirit. Rangolis in the portico, designed daily by different classes, added to the grandeur. Along with these symbolic observances, each class was encouraged to take group pictures every day, creatively showcasing their coordinated outfits in the designated colours, which reflected not only unity but also an eagerness to celebrate tradition in innovative ways. On 27th September, Sharada Pooja in the library and Ayudha Pooja were performed, accompanied by students singing bhajans and actively taking part in the distribution of prasad. The traditional vehicle pooja was also held on campus, which included the college bus as well as staff and student vehicles. In addition, the NSS team of NUCSER rendered service at Kudroli Temple, adding a spirit of community engagement to the festivities.
The celebrations left a lasting impression of joy, creativity and togetherness in the NUCSER community.
