News from NUCSER | NUCSER’s participation in Mangalore Dussehra

The NSS wing of NUCSER participated in the initiative of Swayam Seve (voluntary service) in the grand Mangalore Dussehra celebrations at Kudroli Sri Gokarnanatheshwara Temple on 27th & 28th September 2025 and undertook a variety of responsibilities that contributed to the smooth functioning of the event. Their roles included packing and distributing prasada, managing the movement of large crowds, assisting in the coordination of cultural & devotional competitions, transporting goods, and ensuring cleanliness across the temple premises. Their selfless service reflected the true spirit of community engagement and the core values of the NSS. In a gesture of gratitude, the Temple Committee honoured the volunteers by offering them prasadam in front of the sanctum of Sharada Matha on both days, acknowledging their valuable support and devotion.
