The NSS Unit of Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences (NUINS) organised a Beach Cleaning Drive at Ullal on 30th September 2025. A total of 30 NSS volunteers actively participated in the initiative to promote environmental cleanliness and community responsibility.
The event was guided by the NSS Program Officers of NUINS – Dr. Sarita T Fernandes, Ms. Jeevitha Alva, Mr Sukesh, and Ms Keerthimala K.
Mr. Rohinath, Community Organizer, Ullal and Mr. Pradeep, Sanitary Supervisor, Ullal extended their support and motivated the volunteers.
The drive created awareness among students and the local community about the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy environment, especially in coastal areas.
