The valedictory ceremony of the NSS Annual Special Camp of Dr. NSAM Pre- University College, Nanthoor was held on 2nd October 2025 at Amriteshwar English Medium School, Vamanjoor.
Chief guest Dr. V Bharat Shetty, MLA of Mangaluru North emphasized that youth who understand their culture and values can build a strong nation, thus urging them to move beyond mobile addiction and embrace social responsibility. Presiding over the event, Dr. Naveen Shetty K, Principal appreciated the NSS for guiding the youth away from drug addiction and for promoting cleanliness and community service. He said, “Education without cleanliness is meaningless.”
The event was graced by several distinguished guests including Shri Jayaram Shetty, Treasure, Amriteshwar School; Shri K.V. Shetty, Administrative Officer; Shri Vithal A., Principal, Kittel Memorial Pre-University College; Shri Prashant B. Shetty, President, Ashoknagar Lions Club; Shri Naresh Kumar Shetty, Lions District Zonal
President and Smt. Vidyarani Alva, NSS Deputy Project Officer.
The week-long camp included various service activities and awareness programs, fostering discipline, teamwork and social values among students.
