The Department of Periodontology, AB Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, in association with the Indian Society of Periodontology celebrated National Periodontal Day on 24th February 2026 at Trimshathi Bhavan, ABSMIDS.
The program featured Dr. Mranali K Shetty, Assoc.Professor, Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Mangalore as the resource person who delivered an insightful session highlighting the importance of periodontal health and the significance of maintaining good oral hygiene.
As part of the awareness initiative, toothpaste was distributed among the students to promote oral hygiene practices and reinforce the importance of preventive dental care. It was consecutively followed by Quiz Program for undergraduates and postgraduates.
