Students of Dr. NSAM Pre-University College, Nitte have brought immense pride to the institution by securing top honors and multiple State Ranks in the recently announced Board Examinations 2026.
In the Commerce stream, K Amrutha Kamath emerged as the top scorer with a phenomenal 596 out of 600, securing the prestigious 5th Rank at the State level. She was followed by Prathista Prabhu and Nandini A Shetty, who scored 589 and 585 marks respectively.
The Science stream also witnessed outstanding performance. Adline Vianna Mathias secured the 7th State Rank with 593 marks, while Nidhi Deepak Mendon clinched the 9th State Rank with 591 marks. Varsha S Bhandary further added to the glory by securing the 10th State Rank with 590 marks.
In a historic display of academic brilliance, the institution achieved a 100% pass result, with all 278 students successfully clearing the exams across both streams. Demonstrating high academic standards, 146 students secured Distinctions, while 120 students achieved First Class.
The Science stream led the Distinction tally with 91 students, followed by 55 Distinctions in Commerce stream. Several students also achieved centum scores (100/100) across subjects, including: 25 in Computer Science, 16 in Mathematics, 8 in Physics, 4 in Accountancy, 3 each in Business Studies and Kannada, 2 in Hindi and 1 each in Economics and Political Science, reflecting the institution’s unwavering commitment to educational excellence and student success.
The management and faculty congratulated the students on their remarkable achievements, attributing this success to their dedication, perseverance and the quality of education imparted at the institution.
