The Department of Community Health Nursing, Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences along with Final Year B. Sc Nursing conducted a School Health Program at Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayath Higher Primary School, Hoohakuvakallu, Baalepuni on 21/10/2017. The weight, Heightand BMI of the students were checked and recorded. Two students were identified with malnutrition and informed the school officials. The health education was on the topic “MENSTRUAL HYGIENE”. There were 30 participants of age group 13- 15 years from the school. Students were encouraged to ask their doubts and clarification regarding the topic individually. Faculty and students interacted with the students individually.
