The Department of Biochemistry, K. S. Hegde Medical Academy in association with the Association of Medical Biochemists, Karnataka Chapter, organised the 5th State Level Conference, AMBKCCON-2018, Diabesity… Fat to Fitness from 18th to 20th September, 2018.
The Conference was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. M. Shantharam Shetty, Pro-Chancellor, Nitte University. Prof. Dr. Satheesh Kumar Bhandary, Vice Chancellor, was the Chief Guest. Prof. Dr. P. S Prakash, Dean, K. S. Hegde Medical Academy welcomed the gathering. Dr. Gurupadappa K, AMBKC Vice President and AMBI-President Elect was the Guest of honour.
Eminent specialists in the fields of endocrinology, internal medicine, surgery and gynaecology spoke on diabetes and obesity. The Organising Secretary, Prof. Dr. Sukanya Shetty thanked the gathering.
Around 125 delegates from different States of India attended and actively participated in the Conference.
