A blood donation camp was organized by the NSS unit of NGSM Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences in assistance with the Blood Bank, Justice KS Hegde Charitable Hospital on 13th March 2019 at the Seminar hall of the college.
The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Shravya, Blood Bank Officer, Dr. CS Shastry-Principal, Dr. R Narayana Charyulu, Vice Principal, Dr. Santanu Saha - NSS Program Officer along with the NSS unit members. The Principal appreciated the efforts of the volunteers and said that their noble act of donating blood could save lives and bring smile and happiness in the homes of those in distress and pain.
A total of 30 students donated blood. Dr. Santanu thanked the volunteers, staff members and the team of experts from the blood bank for their enthusiastic participation and positive support. The donors were served refreshments and were given a Certificate of Appreciation as a token of gratitude.
