Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy organized a seminar on “SwachhSoch” in association with Ramakrishna Mission, Mangalore on 14th March 2019 at Lecture hall 5, KSHEMA.
Prof. Dr. Dhanesh Kumar KU, Principal, Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy welcomed the Chief guest and the resource persons. Prof. Dr. Satheesh Rao, Head, Department of Psychiatry, KSHEMA, in his presidential address explained the dangers of global warming and steps to be taken to prevent it. He appreciated the initiative of Ramakrishna Mission in implementing and supporting the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
Shri Gopinath Rao, Ex-Service Man, Faculty SwachhSoch program delivered the keynote address. The Resource person, Mrs. Saritha Shetty elaborated on “Idea of SwachhBharat : Inspiring Indians to transform India”.
Brahmachari Ranjan Bellarpady, Chief Co-ordinator, Ramakrishna Mission SwachhSoch Seminars, inspired the students by delivering a talk with demonstration on the topic “A step towards cleanliness”. All the participants took an oath to contribute towards Swachh Bharat and nation building.
The vote of thanks was delivered by the program co-ordinator, Mrs. Suchetha P.S., Assoc. Professor, Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy. Ms. Jumana Bhagat, II BPT was the master of ceremony.
