NMAM Institute of Technology’s very own ‘Team Nitte Racing’ secured the 12th place in All India level Ranking during the ‘Mega ATV Championships 2019’ which was held during 18th and 20th of March 2019 at Keri, Goa. NMAMIT is also proud to announce that it is the first college in Karnataka to be on the rank list.
Over 125 teams turned up and exhibited their All Terrain Vehicles and their driving capabilities on extremely harsh terrains in front of the jury members. This ranking was secured as a culmination of attaining 7th rank in the Night Endurance Race and 13th in the Solo Dirt Race. With a core team of 12 members and 13 junior recruits, the team functioned under the guidance of Mr. Mohan Poojari and led by student captain Kshitij K Shetty. The vehicle was driven by Karan S Shetty and Karthik V Palan. This successful stint at the Mega ATV Championship was possible on account of the relentless hard work & dedication of the team and overcoming many obstacles along the way, during the last two years.
The team had also participated in ‘Enduro Student India 2019’, held in Talegaon, Pune and had secured an All India Rank of 29 and had ranked 4th in Karnataka out of 75 teams.
