The Department of Public Health, in collaboration with the Dept. of Endocrinology, K S Hegde Medical Academy and the Women’s Forum, organized an awareness session on “Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)” on 16th August 2024.
Dr. Akhila Bhandarkar, Endocrinologist, KSHEMA addressed over 300 pre-university students on “PCOS: What it is and How to identify it”, providing insights into early recognition, symptoms and management of the condition to promote better health awareness among young women.
