Teachers’ Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy on 5th September 2024. The event was organised by the PTA and students, to express their gratitude towards their teachers.
The program started with a floral tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, whose birthday is celebrated as Teachers’ Day in India. The chief guest, Mrs. Kusuma, Hindi teacher from DKZP Govt. Higher Primary School, Baikampady Fisheries, Mangalore was felicitated on the occasion. Principal, Mrs. Shreelatha Rao addressed the gathering and highlighted the invaluable contributions of teachers in shaping the future of students.
The celebrations continued with a series of fun and engaging activities. PTA and students organized games to the delight of their teachers. Teaching as well as non-teaching staff were given a gift as a token of appreciation.
