The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Nitte Rukmini Adyanthaya Memorial Polytechnic conducted a second workshop titled “First to Final” on 12th August 2025 as part of its yearly activities to guide students in their journey from the first year to the final year, focusing on personal growth, skill development and goal-oriented planning.
The resource person for the workshop was JC Prashanth B Shetty, an experienced Zone Trainer known for his motivational and leadership training sessions. Mr. Shetty explained the importance of setting clear goals at the start of the academic journey and consistently working towards them, emphasising that success is built step by step, with dedication, discipline and continuous learning. He discussed the importance of maintaining a positive attitude, participating in extracurricular activities and developing leadership qualities.
The workshop included discussions where students were encouraged to share their own challenges and aspirations. The trainer responded with practical tips and real-life examples, making the session very interactive. The workshop proved to be a valuable learning experience, equipping students with the mindset and strategies to make the most of their diploma years from start to finish.
